UT Department System: Department Pick List Help
Use the Department Pick list, a pop-up window, to search for a department code using the department title or keywords. A list of matching departments will appear.
The list is specific to each semester. Because the Department System maintains data by semester you can find department titles for departments that have expired or that will not exist until a later semester.
To view only the department codes of current departments, choose "for current semester"(the default) and click Search button. To find the department code of a department for a different semester, choose the semester from the drop-down menu, enter the year, and click Search.
When you find the department code, click on the title. The pop-up window will close and the department code will display in the text box on the originating page.
